Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Computer Science/Software Engineering (or related) degree
• 3+ years of experience working on the Hadoop platform.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in one of the Big Data Technologies Hadoop Ecosystem, Phyton, Pig, Hive, Hbase, Spark, Kafka, Impala, Spark ecosystem, and ETL Workflows
• Experience in designing and building and operationalizing Hadoop-based data lake
• Experience in working with all types of data sources – database, Hypermedia, Excels, JSON, XML, APIs, and others.
• Experience working with Microsoft BI stack – SSIS, ODS
• The ability to write complex SQL, Stored procedures, functions, and triggers including some query tuning
• Understand basic concepts of Unix Scripting at an added advantage
• Hand-on experience with the open-source software platform Linux
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player to work along with Global teams and business partners
• Positive attitude and flexible
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to change

Persyaratan Untuk Kandidat

Main Responsibility:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting efforts that will support the delivery of enterprise solutions to our clients. The primary effort involves the migration/modernization of the largest Malaysian Commercial Bank.

Ideally, the candidates will have significant ETL Database development background in SSIS, SQL/T-SQL as well as experience in migration of data to NoSQL and Hadoop Environment.
